​Dr Maxine Beetham. BHB, MBCHB, FRNZCGP.

Dr. Maxine Beetham has grown up in Te Puna, Tauranga, attending Te Puna School and Otumoetai College. She then attended Auckland University where she completed her medical Studies.
Following this, she worked at Tauranga Hospital for several years, then Rotorua and Waikato Hospital doing ICU and Anesthetics before carrying out further study in General Practice. She is now a Fellow of the Royal NZ College of GP’s. Her interests include maternity, pediatrics, and palliative care. She is very keen to provide professional care to her patients from her local and surrounding regions.

​Dr Ken Caldwell. MRCGP (UK), FRNZCGP, Dip. Obs.

Originally from Speyside in Scotland, Ken has lived and worked in New Zealand for almost 30 years. He established and developed a large and successful family practice in the Waikato before branching out to work in rural areas around the country.
This took him and his family to some fantastic locations like Waiheke Island and Waihi Beach and they have met some great people along the way.
He is an experienced, reliable, and friendly family doctor, comfortable with most aspects of General Practice.
Having settled in the Bay of Plenty, he is looking forward to making Te Puna Doctors a Medical Practice we can be proud of.
